Keepsake was born from a personal experience. Our founder started this company after his mother shared a quiet regret: she wished she had a meaningful recording of her parents' voices and stories after they passed. She told him she missed hearing their laughs. That moment became the foundation for everything we do. We believe every person's story deserves to be preserved with care, intention, and the highest level of craft. This work is not just a business for us. It is deeply personal, and we carry that same sense of purpose into every film we create.Item description

If there is someone in your life whose voice, stories, or presence you want to hold onto, a legacy film is worth considering. You do not need a special occasion or a reason beyond the simple desire to preserve something meaningful. Most families come to us with one thought: "I do not want to lose this."
-
That is completely normal, and it is something we are experienced in handling with care. Our process is designed to feel like a conversation, not a performance. There is no script, no bright studio, and no pressure. We film in the comfort of their home, at their pace, and most people find that within a few minutes they forget the camera is there at all. Our job is to make them feel heard, not watched.
-
As long as your loved one is able to have a conversation and share their thoughts, it is not too late. We have worked with individuals at many stages of life and health, and we approach every situation with patience, flexibility, and respect. That said, if this is something you have been thinking about, we gently encourage you not to wait. The best time to capture these stories is while the person is comfortable and able to enjoy the process.

Everything begins with a free consultation. This is a relaxed conversation where we get to know your family, learn about the person being filmed, and talk through what you hope to capture. From there, we schedule a filming day at your loved one's home, where we set up professional equipment and guide a comfortable, unhurried interview. After filming, we carefully edit the footage into a polished, cinematic film, complete with any family photos or materials you would like to include. The finished film, in the Signature and Enduring Legacy packages, is delivered in a handcrafted keepsake box along with a USB copy and other meaningful items your family can treasure, as well as a digital copy to download and share with family members near and far.

You do not need to come prepared with anything. Part of our process is helping your family identify the stories, moments, and themes that matter most. During the consultation, we will talk through what makes your loved one's life unique, and we will guide the entire interview on filming day. The most powerful moments often come from questions no one thought to ask.

Recording your loved one on your own is always a wonderful idea, and we encourage it. Any effort to preserve their voice and stories is valuable, whether it is a phone recording at the kitchen table or a video call with a grandparent. What we offer is something different in scope and finish. A Keepsake legacy film is produced by a small team of passionate, knowledgeable industry professionals with over a decade of experience in documentary filmmaking. We bring professional lighting, audio, and camera equipment into your loved one's home and guide the conversation in a way that draws out stories your family may have never heard before. The result is a cinematic, broadcast-quality film that transforms a family moment into a family heirloom. Both options have value. Ours simply offers a level of craft, permanence, and storytelling depth that turns something personal into something truly timeless.

Prices vary between packages, to reflect the amount of time and effort our team dedicates to each film. A Keepsake legacy film is a professionally produced documentary, not a home video. During the consultation call we will ask the questions that help us decide, with you, which package fits your budget, needs, and desires.
